The 30% federal residential solar tax credit will expire on Dec 31, 2025.
To qualify, the system and any battery storage must be installed and "placed in service” by Dec 31, 2025.
After this date, the tax credit will end entirely. See our Solar Consumer Protection Guide for information on going solar.
