Want to Charge Your EV Faster?
Most EVs come with a Level 1 charger that plugs into a standard 120-volt AC electric outlet. Want to charge faster at home? Consider investing in a Level 2 EV charger. A Level 2 charger requires a dedicated 240-volt electrical circuit, similar to what is used for an electric clothes dryer or electric range. BWP offers a rebate of up to $1,500 for residents to help offset the cost of purchasing and installing a Level 2 charger.
Additional Resources
BWP's Used EV rebate can be combined with other incentives to further reduce the purchase cost. Below are other resources you may be able to take advantage of:
• Federal Used Clean Vehicle Credit - Receive up to a $4,000 tax credit if you purchase a used EV from a licensed auto dealer for $25,000 or less.
• Replace Your Ride Program - Receive up to $12,000 if you replace your current gas vehicle with an EV.
