Low-Income Residential Assistance Program Benefits
Income-qualified Residential and Lifeline customers can receive $50 basic assistance through the program. Additionally, we will be offering additional assistance for customers carrying outstanding balances on their utility bill — $300 for residential customers, and up to $1,000 for our Lifeline customers. The assistance will be applied as a bill credit to the electric portion of the applicant's utility bill.
2 Lifeline customers who have participated in the COVID-19 Job Loss Bill Credit Program are NOT eligible to receive the Outstanding Balance Assistance or Lifeline Enhanced Balance Assistance.

The BWP Account holder can add a co-applicant to their account by calling BWP Customer Service at (818) 238-3700, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Program enrollment is limited to one approved applicant per household.

You can also download a pdf of the application and submit it by mail or drop it off in the payment dropbox outside of the BWP lobby at 164 W. Magnolia Blvd.
