|Mr. Ronald E. Davis, Burbank Water and Power General Manager, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Professional Accounting from Eastern Washington University. He also is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Nuclear Program. He began his professional career with Washington Water and Power Company in Spokane, Washington, moving through various positions from Construction Auditor to General Manager of Accounting to Controller to Director of Marketing and Sales. Prior to working at Puget Sound Energy, where he was Vice-President in charge of regulation, strategic and marketing planning, Mr. Davis was Vice-President of Planning and Regulation at Washington Energy Company. He has served as BWP General Manager since 1999.|
|Mr. James Compton, Assistant General Manager/Chief Technology Officer, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He has been in the Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Computer field for over 26 years having held significant positions within the Media and Entertainment industries. Mr. Compton’s previous experience included VP of Engineering and CTO of a major media and distribution company in Burbank for over 18yrs. Mr. Compton joined Burbank Water and Power on June 1, 2010.|
Mr. Fred Fletcher, Assistant General Manager/Power Supply, holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota and a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, as well as registered as a Professional Electrical Engineer in California. He began his career as an electrical engineer for Black Hills Power and Light. He was part of the initial management team that started Missouri River Energy Services, a municipal joint action power supplier for 60 municipals in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South where he was responsible for planning as well as operations. He has held this position since 1986.
|Ms. Joanne Fletcher, Assistant General Manager/Customer Service & Marketing, holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She has been in the municipal government field for 20 years and the utility industry for 13 years. Ms. Fletcher has served as Burbank Water and Power’s Customer Service Manager since 1997. Ms. Fletcher is also a certified community mediator.|
|Ms. Kathleen Hillesland, Administrative Officer, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from University of California at Los Angeles. She has 28 years of varied general government experience with the City, working for the Burbank Police Department and the Management Services Department in several different positions. Ms. Hillesland joined Burbank Water and Power on August 24, 2009 is in charge of personnel and training for the utility.|
|Mr. Bob Liu, Chief Financial Officer, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Master of Business Administration from Utah State University. He worked for the California Power Exchange prior to joining BWP. Bob came to the Utility as a Financial Analyst, promoting to Financial Planning and Risk Manager in 2003. His primary focus at BWP has been in the areas of financial reporting, budgeting, financial planning, and energy risk management.|
|Mr. Bill Mace, P.E., Assistant General Manager/Water, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Loyola University of Los Angeles, a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University, and a Master of Science degree in Arctic Engineering from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. Mr. Mace has 30 years of design, construction and maintenance experience in Utility Operations. Mr. Mace is also a retired Commander, Civil Engineer Corps, in the United States Naval Reserve. Mr. Mace was appointed Assistant General Manager for Water Systems in December of 2004 after seven years of service at Burbank Water and Power.|
Mr. Jorge Somoano, Assistant General Manager/Electrical Distribution, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Woodbury University. He has been in the municipal utility field for 25 years having held significant positions with the City of Vernon Light and Power Department and Riverside Public Utilities. Mr. Somoano’s previous experience included managing conservation programs, rates, resource procurement & planning, and engineering. Mr. Somoano joined Burbank Water and Power on November 2, 2009 as one of BWP’s Assistant General Managers.
